Caring for Your Blooms
Our flowers are grown in our home garden and naturally air-dried without the use of dyes or harsh chemicals. As a result, some variation and natural imperfections should be expected.
Naturally dried flowers add a timeless charm to any space, requiring minimal maintenance compared to fresh flowers. They can last for many years under the right conditions however, to ensure their longevity and beauty, proper care is essential. Here are some key tips on how to care for your naturally dried flowers:
1.
Placement
Keep dried flowers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can cause fading and brittleness.
Avoid placing them in humid locations such as bathrooms or kitchens, as moisture can lead to mold or make petals limp.
Position them in a spot with good air circulation to prevent dust buildup and deterioration.
2.
Dusting & Cleaning
Naturally dried flowers can be gently cleaned using a feather duster or using a hairdryer on the lowest and coolest setting.
Avoid using water or cleaning sprays, as dried flowers are fragile and can be damaged by moisture.
3.
Handling with Care
Dried flowers are delicate, so handle them minimally to avoid breakage.
If rearranging them, do so gently and support the stems to prevent snapping.
